- I was responsible for achieving budgeted sales and margins in an assigned area.I was responsible for ensuring all corporate merchandising standards were maintained on a daily basis including but not limited to merchandise resets, zone recovery, freight flow, daily inventory replenishment, price integrity, promotional and seasonal sets, merchandise displays, product literature and housekeeping. I was responsible for the overall safety, security, supervision, training, mentoring, and scheduling of all assigned personnel. I supported the Store Manager to ensure that superior customer service was provided daily across the store.

Under the direction of the Store Manager, I was responsible for providing Superior Customer Service while achieving sales and margin budgets by managing the growth and profitability of retail and specialty sales initiatives (i.e. Special Order, Commercial and Installed Sales). In addition, I was responsible for managing all Sales Specialists' performance and work with employees to achieve individual and budgeted sales goals. I ensured maximum productivity by monitoring sales as compared to payroll expense,identified sales opportunities, and set the standard for providing exceptional service by interacting with customers.
