| THE CLIFTON INN & HOTEL | 1465 Front Street, Blair, Nebraska 68008 |
| Manager | July, 2009-May, 2010 |
- I was the guest's first impression of the Clifton. I took all phone calls and handled all the day-to-day tasks of the Inn. I filled out all the books, took deposits for reservations as well as handled credits for cancellations. I checked guests in/out and also handled all the cleaning of the rooms. If a guest needed something to make their stay more enjoyable, they came to me. I was on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. I also was in charge of all advertising, website design (Facebook page). I also took any calls for the owners and handled any rental issues for their other properties . I got done at the Clifton because my husband & I moved back to Vermont to be near our families. (He had a daughter in the hospital when we decided to come home.)

| Au Bon Pain @ DHMC | 1 Medical Center Drive, Lebanon NH 03766 |
| Baker/Prep/Counter help/Cashier/Catering staff | January 2007-July 2008 |
- I started out learning how to work the counter, taking and filling orders for breakfast and lunch, but was quickly cross-trained in ALL areas of ABP. In a very short time, I was doing all the salads every day, prepping for all the catering orders, and also doing the overnight baking of the fresh pastries/bagels/breads. I ran a cash register when needed, and worked overtime if needed to cover any shifts that had to be covered.
-
When my mother became hospitalized, and I tried to take time off to be with her, I was told that my job "could not be gauranteed", so I walked off the job to spend the last month of my mother's life with her. I do NOT regret this decision, even though it was the ONLY job I've ever walked out on without giving my notice.

| Patterson's Grocery & Deli | Route 10, Orford NH 03777 |
| Deli worker (stockperson as needed) | May 2006-January 2007 |
- I handled all aspects of the deli. I answered the phone taking lunch orders and filling them, ran fryolators, pizza ovens, meat slicers grills and ovens. I was in charge of all prep for the following day-to be done before I left at the end of my shift. When needed I put away stock, and stocked the coolers and handled produce/meat orders. Was not responsible for any cash, but did run register if extremely busy. I was also in charge of stocking ice cooler/freezer and keeping fresh coffee/pastries full in the front end of the store. I even provided out-of-town customers with directions for scenice drives, or local attractions as well as hotel/motel suggestions (as I have lived in Orford most of my life). I got done at Patterson's to work at Au Bon Pain where I was offered more money and better hours.
