- My career with Wachovia began as a processor on a government loan team. I was quickly given underwriting responsibilities and was then promoted to trainer, officer and finally senior trainer. The bank recognized my expertise of FHA and VA lending and allowed me to develop and lead a 4 million dollar training initiative in government and construction permanent lending. Nationwide, every loan officer was required to complete the certification program in order to accept FHA/VA and CP mortgage applications. I also co-developed the bank's mortgage processor training program. My time included serving other projects also such as Fannie Mae's beta program when the desktop underwriting engine was being developed.
