Hannah Parker Piano Studio, Private Piano Teacher, January, 2007- Current
- I have started my own private piano studio, teaching at my church and also going to student's homes for lessons. My studio has grown from two to twelve students currently.

I teach classical piano from a beginner level through very proficient students. They age from 8 years old to adults.

I also have incorporated jazz and contemporary students into my studio who study music theory in depth as well

I plan various types of lessons for students with vary diverse interests

All of my students learn major and minor scales, chord theory, exercises, and practice sight reading

One of my students does not speak english but is a very distinguished young pianist, through working with him it has challenged my communication skills greatly but have found a way to make music cross language and cultural boundaries successfully

- I am majoring in Music Education with Choral emphasis. My primary instrument of study is classical piano and my secondary instrument is voice. I am continuing my study with Dr. Cherrix in piano, and have studied with him privately before attending UofL.

- I studied flute and piccolo for eight years with Dr. J. Hoover, and led flute ensemble at Christian Academy for two years

I have played jazz piano with multiple jazz bands, ranging from my high school honors jazz band to small ensembles at receptions and parties

I won an outstanding soloist award at the prestigious North Texas Annual Jazz Festival during 2008
