| M Street Entertainment, 12th and McGavock St. Nashville, TN | | April, 2009 - Present | | Carpenter/ Maintenance Tech | - I currenty work as a carpenter/ maintenance technician for M Street Entertainment. This is a private group of investors that own an area of downtown Nashville and dedicate it to the expansion of their chain of hip/upscale restaurants. To date, I have helped complete five restaurants, one private club and Im currently working on an event hall. My duties include building booths, tables, bar areas, shelves and more. I work on a three man team, in a warehouse woodshop located on the grounds. After the restaurants open to the public, I do daily maintenance for each restaurant individually. This includes plumbing, painting, drywall repair, some electrical and other basic maintenance needs.
| | | | Vista Outdoor Services, Mt. Juliet, TN | | Jan.,2009 - April., 2009 | | Landscape Developer | - My job included maintaining the appearance of a condominium complex, hospital, motel and a few other businesses such as a Jiffy Lube and Mapco gas station. I mowed (w/ a zero-turn lawn mower), weed-eated, blew, did irrigation and aeration, laid soil, trimmed shrubs and pulled weeds. I ended my employment after work slowed down and I was encouraged to take any better offer. Quiting is not usually in my nature, but at the time, I had no other option.
