- In 2002 I enrolled in Kentucky Tech. There I recieved my carpenters degree. While in school I signed up with numerous temporary agencies. I first learned to drive a forklift with forge staffing,where I was sent to a company called striderite. They sent me through two weeks of safety classes, there I learned to operate the cherry picker and the eletric pillot jack. I worked there for eight months. The worked slowed up so I was laid off. Then I went to another temporary agency called Crown they sent me out to a company called MCI Cat were they packaged Greyhound bus parts such as rims ,tires,engines. I worked there for eight to ten months they also slowed down on work. From there I went to a company called VG.Reed they were a printing company, there I drove the reach truck transporting rolls of paper weighing seven to nine hundred pounds.
