Interfacing with a diverse customer base to understand their needs, priorities, and processes
Proposing and implementing new features and system improvements
Developing relationships to support your team’s activities
Prioritizing the work of your team, and building product timelines and roadmaps

Experience Requirements:

Requirements
5+ years experience in Software development
2+ years as a Development Manager or Team Lead
BS/MS degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent experience
Demonstrated passion for customer experience and usability
Strong verbal and written communication skills and demonstrated technical leadership
Experience in the development and architecture of distributed/scalable/fault tolerant systems and high-volume transaction applications
Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced, results driven environment
Familiar with Linux (Or Unix) environment
Experience in testing and a passion for producing high quality code
Understanding of relational databases, relational modeling and SQL (Oracle/MySQL)
Agile practices and methodologies such as Test Driven Development and Scrum
Experience leading software development life cycle using appropriate processes and best practices
An understanding of OO design patterns and programming (Java preferred)
Proficiency with client side
