• The Chef is the dining hall/kitchen supervisor, cooks, plans meals, orders food supplies, and is responsible for the health and safety of the kitchen/dining hall complex.
• Minimum qualifications: 2-4 years High volumne cooking and education.

Education Requirements:

• Two years of verifiable high volume cooking experience in an institutional kitchen or other service hospitality operation preparing meals for quantity servings of at least 250 meals; (fast Food/Chain restaurant experience is not qualifying) AND
• Satisfactory completion of a culinary arts/food service management program with a certificate of completion and/or an associate degree from an accredited college or university OR
• 4 years of verifiable high volume cooking experience which includes 2 years supervisory experience in an institutional kitchen or other food service hospitality operation preparing meals for quantity servings of at least 250 meals (fast Food/Chain restaurant experience is not qualifying)
