Job Description:

1. Responsible for all activities involving quality assurance
2. Defines, designs, and implements quality assurance practices and procedures.
3. Develops, publishes, and implements test plans
4. Writes and maintains test documentation
5. Develops quality assurance standards
6. Ensures quality assurance standards are achieved
6. Defines and tracks quality assurance metrics such as defect densities and open defect counts.
7. Test, evaluate, and validate IT initiatives and identify issues with web based application
8. Analyzes discrepancies in service or performance and makes recommendations for web based application updates
9. Escalates issues and potential issues to IT
10. Organize and coordinate testing with other departments involved in the quality assurance process
11. Conducts audits and reviews/analyzes data and documentation

Education Requirements:

Requires a bachelor's degree and 1-2 years of quality assurance experience

Experience Requirements:

Must have a working knowledge of quality assurance methodologies
3. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
4. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
5. Demonstrate wide degree of creativity, latitude, and attention to detail
6. Possess excellent organization, communication and problem-solving skills and have the ability to prioritize and handle a variety of tasks
7. Possess ability to maintain and promote good working relationship with co-workers, management, and clients
8. Possess a strong working knowledge and understanding of the Internet, browsers
9. Experienced in testing web based applications
